Looking back at the final Pitch stage, David eloquently shared the ten-year journey of trials and triumphs at Singular Wings Medical. Over the past decade, starting from the development of wearable ECG technology, the team gradually expanded into diverse applications including sleep quality assessment, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) evaluation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and even pet cardiac monitoring. Yet, the road was filled with bumps and setbacks—market responses fell short of expectations, and rejection after rejection from investors forced the team into desperate dilemmas. Faced with these challenges, the team decisively made a bold and unwavering strategic pivot—choosing to leverage ECG and electrophysiological signals as their core foundation to venture into chronic disease management and advance the development of “digital twin systems.”
This has been an arduous and challenging long march. Thankfully, with the unwavering support and selfless dedication of the team, they joined forces to dive deep into key AI technology R&D, ultimately birthing a groundbreaking non-invasive blood glucose monitoring system.
